FOR PATIENTS
With current medicine development patients and doctors now have hope for discovering new medicine for incurable and chronic diseases. However, prior to a release of a new drug on the market, in hospitals and pharmacies it has to go through multi stage process of clinical trials. It regards effectiveness, safety, and occurrence of side effects. The patient who takes part in clinical trials helps himself and many other people suffering from a given chronic disease which, in turn, influences the medicine development and improves the quality of health care.
Clinical trials are programmes conducted by highly specialized facilities, such as EuroMedis, and their goal is to evaluate the effectiveness and safety of both applied and new medicines.
Conducting such programmes is confirmed and monitored by proper governmental organizations i.e. Ministry of Health, The Bioethics Committee.

Millions of patients take part in clinical trials worldwide. They have a chance to use new commonly unavailable therapeutic opportunities which frequently are their only chance of treatment.
Patients can volunteer in the programme and have the right to resign, without any consequences, at any time of its conduct. Each patient is under continuous control of specialists whom he can contact at any time, without being referred to him or need to wait in lines for the appointment. Moreover, we provide regular laboratory tests and imaging scans in order to thoroughly monitor the patient’s health status and to improve the quality of healthcare. The participant does not bear any costs connected with appointments or tests and frequently is entitled to travel refunds.
EuroMedis Clinical Trial Centre strictly respects patients’ rights and acts in accordance with The Polish Charter of Patients’ Rights and we respect patient’s autonomy in deciding about taking part or resigning of the participation in the clinical trial.
